July 10, 2009 is the official dealine for the vendors/renters of the Queen's Square market to relocate to the make-shift market aka novelo's terminal/old city council compound. Ofcourse there's no electricity, lots of dust, pests, no infrastructure,and little or no barrier to prevent thieves and unwanted visitors from entering the premise. Possibly there will be some access to running water, i cant imagine in what manner.....but atleast there will be water. Basically they will designate plots of land and randomly select numbers to give to those who still choose to be market vendors. Imagine the amount of disease and sickness that will be spread from this unsanitary situation. How Mr.Singh can feel no sympathy for the vendors of queen's square and also for the health of Belize City....who has him in power, just makes me so dissapointed. I hope this problem is resolved or we face dealing with Cholera and many other health hazards coming into out home.Ministry of Health, where are u? ..waiting for the family and kids to start dying? blog ppl...

...bacterium and a MOTHER from WEST STREET in mortal COMBAT and i had 2 CHOOSE which side 2 RESCUE i would have 2 SAY that i would TAKE d SIDE of d GERM...Bze PPLs r a pretty reSILENT lot...I believe d GENERATIONs of coEXISTENCE with d OPEN SEWAGE of bzeCTY of yesteryear has HAD its reWARD!!!!
On a serious NOTE though it is a CLASSICAL battle between LAW & ORDER on d part of d bze CITCO vs d inDISCIPLINE and CHAOS that has come 2 mark bzean SOCIETY!!!
When U c those SHACKS from d AIR that go 4 MARKET STALLS u know how much TROUBLE we r in...ALTHOUGH i couldn't enDORSE d methods by senorSINGH 2 relocate d VENDORs without better PLANNING these PPls have conSISTENLY fought 2 KEEP things d way they r...They have fought DICKIE BRADLEY and d PUPs some years ago whom, WONDERS of WONDERS, caved in after a few nanoSECONDS and TOOK d LOW ROAD of POLITICAL conVENIENCE and subscribed 2 d STATUS QUO!!!
If i was d big Z i would use reversePCYCHOLOGY and put these VENDORS and their political SHADOWS on d SPOT by asking them 2 come up with a PLAN 4 their reLOCATION within TWO wks, with perhaps a FINANCIAL INCENTIVE 2 boot!!!
