why are our local music bands not supported during the September celibrations?

i went out to enjoy the carnival these weeken and to my surprise there where just a few or if i am right just one band on a truck back.mostly use where Dj with thier system. As a former DJ i support them, but if i wasn't for the bands and the artis thier wouldn't be any music for the DJ's.
I even ask my self, why if every year we have soca music bring down the house. their haven't been a local band bring out new hits for all Belizeans to enjoy.We all wait for some artis from the caribbean to bring out something new. We all go out to see then at thier concerts.why we stop being like Crabs in a bucket and support our local talents.

am with you on that -- i guess belizeans -- just basically want to be who they are not -- america brought us the b.e.t. - fancy cars , get rich or die trying --and now we got a jamaican t.v station r.e. don't watch me huh ?/?-- feeding us jamaican culture -- (respect jamaicans still -- no offence) - -

check out krem t.v. -- more like african flikks soap opera channel -- teaching us obeahs and cheating on our spouses or mose hyde in concert - in the a.m. talking upp the place -- ( mose sucks )-- i feel it for belizean artists --
hey i wish we had less talkshows and more belizean artists -- in concert -- maybe when our children gets old maybe -- k ?/? keep ur head upp --
