Thats what we may end up having to do, seeing that when prices go up in Belize, they never go back down. Has anyone noticed that crude oil has dipped below $50 per barrel? Do you think gas prices may be reduced. I doubt it, but let's see.

The Math is crazy, but true. Everyone who owns a car or a business knows that everything is going up. The latest thing is Gas. It is a well know fact that by the end of the year we will all be paying $10 per gallon on gas, hopefully it does not reach to that but with the way the governement is constantly rising taxes and the cost of living keeps going up we may all have ot revert to getting bicycles. In 2 more terms, we will defintely be paying close to $20 per gallon, if it comes to that things will be very dread.

Butane is another thing that keeps going up. Once you hear that gas is going up you can be sure that Butane will be following close behind, it seems the GOB don't want to raise one without rasing the other.

Why all that Sales Tax, is it even beneficial to us or is it a nice way to make the GOB get extra reveneue, well that is going up, while the job rates are indeed falling, Things are so tight that some companies don't support the overtime rule. But then again with that increase in Sales Tax we can give Raplh and Musa that big 150% increase in the salary, why give them that much and more increase when they already the hold out so much from the people of this Country. But we have to see how thing go and they way it is going, we are in for a very bumpy ride.

you have a point. two more terms, i don't think we can survived 2 more terms. Gas would be at $20/gal. butane $200/100lb cyn., bread $5. Sales tax 20%. minimum wage $1hr and musa/ralph salary $10 million/yr. Belize DEBT $5 Billion. deh must go now!. that is a prediction at present trend. do the math.

Spinninggggg - I disagree to an extent. Mr. Barrow does offer solutions though in tits and bits instead of a clear precise plan of action to bring Belize out of the gutter. Bear in mind, that in our system of government, the job of the opposition is to oppose and that essentially is what we get from our political parties. Perhaps we should push to have our system of governance changed to one such as that of the U.S where a party or leader can only server for x terms so as to limit the damage that one party or leader can do ... can you imagine donkey musa and gorilla ralph running this country for 2 more terms?
