UDP Votes for Colonialism

The UDP have chosen to keep Belize bogged down with the British Privy Council, an appellate court inherited from our former colonial masters, as they derailed the government's second attempt to amend the Constitution to replace the Privy Council with the Caribbean Court of Justice. The Privy Council is seen by many as antiquated, out of touch with the realities, culture and needs of the Caribbean nations - a true mark against the independence and sovereignty of our region. But the UDP has, at every attempt, curtailed the government's efforts to achieve judicial independence. Barrow has insulted CARICOM by saying that just because it has supported Belize's sovereignty does not mean that Belize should support its initiatives. What hypocrisy! The CCJ is the next step for Belize in the region. Let's embrace it. Reject Barrow. He is truly dangerous for Belize.
Musa & PUP Neo-Colonialism

Prime Minister Said Musa has been the greatest reason we are at the mercy of foreign master who hold Belizeans in economic bondage.
Belize onces owned an independent telephone company - Musa gave it to the British Lord. Is that not back into colonialism?
Belize once owned BEL, it is now owned by Canadians. Is that not putting us at the mercy of foreign masters?
Belize once owned a fledging Tourist Village - the hub of the most dynamic industry in Belize - the Tourism Industry. Why did Musa sell us out into neo-colonialism?
Further, since it was the PUP that lead Belize into Independence. Why did PUP not abandon the Privy Council at that time if that was sooooo important?
