I didn't say that the poster was racist. I was saying that if we apply Okeke's stupid logic to that poster, we would arrive to the same conclusion. So basically, now you can't put a picture of anyone on any health-related poster because it is racist. Even if a white-child's face was placed on an HIV poster, people can say it is racist (using Okeke's stupid logic).

The funniest allegation coming out of the UDP mayoral convention in Belmopan is that incumbent mayor Lopez spends all day on his new laptop in his office playing solitaire and watching porn. Ironic that one of the first 'innocent' victims of the UDP draconian gun law is the son of prominent ACBer/UDP Steve Duncan. The distress continues for elder Duncan as the money laundering investigation is leading right to his doorstep. it looks like none of his friends are 'concerned' about him right now.

After a heated battle with the then PUP Central Government, in which Zenaida threatened to shut down the city if GOB did not 'run di head tax money', it appears that her own UDP gov't is spiting her. It has withheld the head tax since March. According to Tracy Panton at BTB the money was not forthcoming because of irregularities with how the funds were being spent by Moya. It looks like the UDP really want Z gone. The lady can't even get one of her councillors Laura Esquivel to return her calls.

If there was a poster of which grep is speaking (didn't see it) then certainly I feel it was racist and degrading and could definitely be viewed as stereotyping spanish women. I see that MOH has agreed to remove the poster. Good for them. But I think a full investigation must be done as to how the poster passed the screening process. Racism of any kind (especially one as blatant as disgusting as this poster) should never be tolerated.

Sounds like a pile of B.S to me. Ministry should not have recalled, just send out some black magic marker and draw a line across the the kids eyes. Problem solved.... but noooo they have to recall the entire thing...and probably reprint ... waste of fucking money if you ask me.

I do not believe the poster form the ministry of health is at all racist. Why didn't okeke cry foul when the poster of a spanish prostitute was used on an AIDS poster? I think lots of guys will remember that poster with a leg on a dance pole. That was clearly a spanish girl. So, using dumbkeke's logic: the poster is sending a message that all spanish women are whores???

Why has UBAD, COLA, KREM not taken the torch from Okeke re: the racist poster from the Ministry of Health depicting a black child as the 'face' of AIDS? All the other children's pictures are blurred or blacked out, but the black child is shown clearly. Terrible! Yet the so-called champion of black people, Mose Hyde and Krem have not said a word. It just proves who is paying the piper.
