That's the worst State of the Nation address, ever!!

The State of the Nation address given by our beloved Prime Ministers is the worst, yet. It contained no essence of the country's real state neither did it inform us of where the country is heading. Instead of talking about the real issues the PM decided to discuss the arrest of several UDP officials. If that is not imcompetence on the part of the PM and his administration, then I do not know what is. I seriously thought we would had heard what their plans are to stimulate Belize's economy, what they are doing to curb all the murders and other illegal activities, how they have an will address the immigration issues or atleast how the country have develop since last year's State of the nation address. Instead Mr. Musa used the opportunity to campaign and engage in mudslinging. If this is the best the PM can do, imagine where we are heading as a nation.

Hit the nail on the head, Roadie. To me you comment seems so true. So where are all the educated young and old Belizeans? Has the diaspora affected us so much that no one in Belize would intelligently express their disatisfaction at the disenfranchizement of the Belizean poeple. I think it is high time we as a people stop the rhetorics on here and start using our intellectual resources to have these government leaders change their way of doing things. We can start doing this by start voting on Issues and Character of the candidates, rather than a political party.
