If any Belizean turns to me tomorrow and tells me Happy Thanksgiving, I swear on my late puppies grave I will be forced to choke a bitch! I WILL go Wayne Grady on your Ass.
Now, if you are American, Maybe lived in the U.S. for say over 10 years, are married to an American, etc etc, then by all means celebrate your holiday, I have nothing but respect for it.
It just pisses me off that because of television, Belizeans think they are suppose to celebrating Thanksgiving Day, IT IS AN AMERICAN HOLIDAY PEOPLE!!! Its is not a part of our custom or history.
...while i'm on the subject of what grinds my gears, stop decorating for Christmas with snowmen and sleighs etc etc, we have no snow in Belize, people decorate with that in the North Because of their climate, i dunno, maybe i'm overreacting. Probably. I'm too practical maybe? Don't get me wrong I love Christmas. Again maybe if you are decorating to remind you of the days you lived in the north where there was snow, then by all means, frost away...but y really piss me off di watch bzeans di buy frosty the snowman when u know them no even see snow yet.

Why do the Garinagu get theirs and the rest of the races don't? Maybe just a Culture Day? Since a lot of people mixed anyway, we celebrate all races, not just Creole. A day you celebrate whatever culture you wish....
