I'm not much of a football fan, but if Belize is playing in an international event, i'm certainly interested. At this moment i'm really pissed. At the 39th minute, Belize is down to Salvador by 1 goal. What pisses me off is that i can see so much talent and athleticism on the Belize squad, but no technical system. Guys aren't cutting or putting themselves in position to have an impact. They seem to just be reacting. If it wasn't for the Goal Keeper, it is quite possible that we would be down by as much as 5 goals.
I really don't mean to be harshly critical, but i suggest that when the coaches get back to Belize, they show these guys a video of this game and point out the million instances where players could have cut without the ball and place themselves in a position to best utilize their striking skills and have an impact on the game.
For now i will certainly appreciate the brilliant saves by Shane Orio who without a doubt is an outstanding player.

At the 63rd minute, the score is 2 - 1 Salvador. There was a brilliant "Technical" play executed by about 4 players which resulted in a goal. That's what i'm talking about.

The highlights for Belize in this game was the brilliance of Shane Orio, and that spectacular play that resulted in the only goal for Belize. I hope the coaches replay that sequence to the team and encourage them to work hard on plays like that.

U SHOULDN'T A BE PISSED ABOUT NOTHING..THOSE GUYS DID A WONERFUL JOB..THE GOAL KEEPER ALONE CANNOT WIN A GAME..IT TAKES THE WHOLE TEAM AND THE TEAM WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THOSE GAMES.IT DOES NOT TAKE ONLY PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STRENGTH TO WIN A GAME...A HELL OF A LOT MORE. THE OPPOSING TEAMS HAD ALOT OF TIME TO PREPARE FOR THIER GAMES..BELIZE HAD LIKE WHAT TWO MONTHS? THEM SPANISH LIVE FOOTBALL, THAT'S THE WAY THEY MAKE THEIR LIVING. OUR GUYS CAN'T DEPEND ON FOOTBALL SUPPORT THEMSELVES..THEY GET PAID CHEAP. THE COACH MADE SOME FUKED UP CHANGES...WHY DEH HELL HE WAH PUT IN THE STRONGER MEN IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME? ...i cringe in anticipation of the EMBARASSMENT that invariably follows...A couple years ago I remembered we TOOK 8 or 9 goals from elSALVADOR...The GUATs...the costaRICANs...the HONDORENEANs...and the PANAMANIANs are also KNOWN to routinely beatUP on us in a BAD way.
This fait accompli stance that KJ seems to be taking is a defeatist attitude...There was a TIME in the 60's and 70's when BERGER 404...and LANDIVAR...and WHITE LABEL used to travel to MEX and GUATe...and Honduras and beat up and draw ball games with these guys...So the explanation that WE are not together LONG enough to beat up these guys is not something that i support...I beleive that if we can find a way to move the HEAT of football from the BOARDROOM to the PITCH...then we will be GOOD again!!!
