...that would depend on the severity of the crime, if its something minor that can be overlooked, like its obvious someone making something of themselves and moving on then i think it would be not pose a problem...

Most criminals are repeat offenders but not all. Some times a young person makes a mistake, then cleans up there act. But they are screwed for life for that one mistake. Okay so what to do well mabye they could seal the record of first time offenders after they serve their time, not remove but seal IE not realease it to the public, if a background check is ran. Then say if after 10 years there is not repeat offense it could be deleted. But if one is commited the seal is removed and the punishment is harsher because of a repeat offense.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, pee in it, and serve it to the people that piss you off. And supa-fly koncas has some fries if you want some! (No ideal what he might have done with them though :)

I don't agree on removing any records from one's file. It should remain and serve as a reminder to that individual and police to show behavioral traits. Just like serial killers, drug dealers, and rapist they all have on thing in common, which is a criminal past. Its really a test crime before they participate/committing and bigger offense. I'm sorry but this will never happen, removing a police records would a horrible and stupid idea. That would set our police department at square one when trying to solve or convict all these killers on the street.

I think that what you did as a kid should not remain on your record. All of us did dumb things when we were younger. Most of the times it was just trying to be cool to impress friends and we did not worry about the consequences of our actions. Now if you do stuff when you are an adult, that should remain there because you are aware of the implications of getting caught. I believe your police record should remain for at least five years if you do not repeat the offence. Once you become a repeat offender as an adult, then "mek dog eat yu suppa" because you have made your choice to do wrong.

Bad choice as you made as a kid does affect your life. An example many youngsters should take into consideration. You might not be able to change that record but you can turn this situation into a mission for the youths out on the street of Belize. Let them all know your troubles and that these little acts will have a negative effect on them later in life.

Take your misfortune and turn it into something positive that is how you get that record remove by showing the public you are a change man.
