police record things

i dont get it what up with the police record thing. first i will say that if i go and spend my time i should not be penalize for life with a record. i think that after a will they should wipe off that record if u haven,t done wrong or try to change ur life. I had a record from i was 10 ten and now i am 26 and that record still mess me up till now. i send over 25 letter out and all was denied because aas eminem say " i am a criminal" just imagine something from u r ten come back and hunt u.
