Ok, so I don't listen to the radio in the morning because Id hate to start my day listening to other peoples problems. Quite the humanitarian eh?
Having said that, Ive heard there has been quite a stir about the site belizeababes.blogspot or something that that effect. I wont pretend, I have visited the site, quite frankly it was a waste of time except for a tall dish on there, that was quite.... anyway.... thats not the point of this post.
I heard some of the girls actually went on the radio or called in etc... After this happened, I assume a couple days ago there has been quite a stir, Ive heard employees talking about it, something which was hardly known by the regular public.
Here is some advice. If you are found on a site like that by some unfortunate event. Don't go on National radio and make known something that was just privy to a small number of people.
Here's why:
Once your pic is out electronically, thats it. Even if you can get the blog shutdown because quite frankly blogs don't tolerate pornography or nudity etc. unless of course its art, and there is nothing artistic about those pics. Except for that...anyway..i'm straying again...Whats done is done, pictures will still circulate via e-mail, can be submitted to other sites hosted in other countries, and there is nothing you can do about that after. Now if you are going to go after the bastard who stole your pics or break the legs of your x-boyfriend who is obviously scum for distributing your pics...then by all means go right ahead.
Point is... it cannot be undone! Period! Revenge maybe, and thats up to you, especially if its by someone like a technician or business you thought could be trusted with your pc or phone.
Besides, yes your privacy has been violated but women get nude all over the world, all the time... yes some make money from it but its quite natural. The female form is a beautiful one, regardless of size and configuration. god forbid they start posting naked men! (my brain just blew a fuse)

Milf, I agree with you one thousand percent. However, I willing to assume that you do not live in Belize. While exposure of this sort is a commonality in places outside of Belize, methinks sex is still a taboo in Belize hence the reaction. I, myself live in the US and can't see what the big issue is with the posting. However, I must admit this comes with exposure. When I got to the US I could not fathom to even have a conversation with a gay person much less considering a gay person my friend. However, as I got exposed to it and taught to be tolerant in the work place I realize that these are human beings too. Believe me, I am not fond of gays and neither am I saying that it is kool or not to be gay because I do nt know their experience. However, it is a part of our daily live based on the society we live in. Having said this I am trying to draw an illustration as why, we who have been exposed (for the lack of a better word) would not be able to see the the reasoning for the fuss. Its just something that happens everyday in our new found home. This is not the case in Belize. Sex and Sexuality is still a TABOO in Belize and everyone still thinks that it is only whores who crave sex. This myth will not disappear anytime soon unless we realize that the act is a natural part of life.
However, having exposed these young ladies, superceded the acceptance level and with out understanding of the prior, the issue becomes exponentially troublesome with and for the latter. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have left Belize got to remember that unlike where we are residing, Belize is still a chrisitian based society. Belizeans live by perception rather than reality. The preferred to be tricked into believing something rather than facing the harsh reality.
Hope these young ladies will understand that though the feel violated they got to "choke" that up to experience and move on and not allow themselves to be in that vulnerable position again. It is now incumbent upon them to move and prove otherwise. I sincerely wish them the best but like you, I can not understand whats the big fuss.

Hey everyone I took the time out of my busy schedule to respond to this particular post. I read most you your feedback and I see some of your points concerning the 'ladies' pics being posted online w/o proper consent... What I don't see is why everyone including the alleged ladies involved are making a huge fuss. I completely understand the sexual stigma that exist in our little, wonderful country. But lets be realistic for a minute...who doesn't have sex and experiment a bit in their lifetime? We don't have to be ashamed of our sexuality, our bodies or even the fact that we are not as innocent as we may have wanted everyone to think. I say forget it even happened and don't let a silly bunch of images or anyone's opinions change how you view yourself. Whats important is not what you did, but what you now choose to do.

Thanks for what u said. But NOpe my video weren't posted up on any other website other than Youtube. Its good that some men are actaully taking part for the women. Only in Belize and the Deep South (during a lynching) people gather around to see dead bodies. I found those photos of the gentleman that was killed in the boating accident to be a real violation. What ever happened to RIP, this man dead and people emailing pics of his dead body around, but i guess its just the ugly side of having accessiblity to technology.
Here is a similiar incident in which this guys dead daughter pic was emailed all over the world. Imagine having to deal with that kind of madness, when you least expect it, turn someone's tragedy into spam.

This is a reflection of our society and the way we men look at women. And it is terribly sad. Belizean men have lost all respect for our women. This is not about 'freedom' or 'democracy' as some people have so ignorantly said. 'Democracy' has nothing to do with this. And freedom is relative to everyone's privacy. The difference with porn/adult sites, is that those women are professional and give their consent to have the pics posted. The Belizean women whose pics were posted did not give their approval.
And yes, I do believe the persons responsible can be brought to justice. It is possible to track who posted those pics by their IP address and time that it was posted.
Lets have some more respect for our women.

Life's a Bitch, i agree. But that doesn't give anyone and i mean anyone permission to post womens pictures on the web. I myself have been a victim of this act. But No it was not pictures that they posted, it was videos. It was a lot i had to take in, because not only was i drugged when it happened (by people i trusted and called my friends) but until a couple of months after it happened i got the news that i had videos out. It's not a nice expeience and i wouldn't hope for it to happen to any other woman especially beautiful belizean women, but that's just my hopes cz i knw it will happen eventually again. I had never experienced anything like that, and who was i to think that it wouldnt have happened to me. One of the Video's was posted up on Youtube, by the assholes that did that to me. When i found out that they made videos of me i was terrified, i went into depression and by god i wanted to commit suicide.. yeh believe me, becuase not only didn't i remember anything that happened to me that night, but i never expected that those persons would do that to me. What on earth did i do to them??? I still am trying to figure it out. The worst part of it is that even after i found out about it i still didnt get a hold of the videos till this year when they decided to post it up and bluetooth it around. It was a pain no one wants to feel. My self esteem as a woman is something i as an idividual really cherrish a lot, especially because a lot of woman are degraded most of the time by men. Luckily i was not doing anything in the video that other women perform. I was there, dugged, drunk and i was taken advantage of. Seeing the videos made me feel as low as i never have gone before in my life. Being a young girl, trying to get somewhere in life, trying to get the best education ever and to become a role model... all of that flickered out after seening the video. On the one hand, I sympathize with most of the young ladies on the assumption that they may have believed that they were posing for their forever, one and only, and that the pics would be privately treasured - never to enter the public domain.
I would also assume that the minority of the models may have wanted to be the object of voyeuristic admiration and do not mind their new found “fame” on the www.
For those falling in the first category, I wonder how many of them were married to their photographer? I would venture to guess that none were.
And even if they were married, did they have any guarantee that their camera-toting beaus would not do as they pleased with the said pics? Were they naive enough to believe that once the relationship was over, the pics would be destroyed or at the very least not shared with anyone else? Could they have not taken the precaution of taking nude pics of their beaus themselves? (I think that one or two did). Even if they were still in the relationship, couldn't the camera, memory stick, ‘puter not be stolen, borrowed or hacked?
Life is a bitch. Men are dogs. And shit happens. Moral of the story, if you are going to pose in the flesh, assume that other people will eventually see it and make sure that you also take some like pics of your photographer for insurance.
