The general dart playing public elected a new Belize Darts Association and Board of Directors yesterday afternoon. I am proud to say that three out of the four posts (President, Secretary and Treasurer) were filled by ladies! I am hoping that the new association will do much to revitalize the sport and encourage active participation while implementing some internationally sanctioned guidelines which would certainly proove to be beneficial as we prepare to travel to the Caribbean Games next year. On a personal note, I would like to say it is an honor to have been elected as secretary and I will do my very best to promote the sport in the best interest of every player.
