Is Anarchy the rule of the day in Belize????

Where is our society heading? Is it total chaos and Anarchy? I am so dissapointed to read Channel 7 news about the total disregards and total loss of respect for our Belizean law enforcement personnel. Is this is a sign of the times in which our country currently stands? If the policemen can not protect the citizenry of a country then who will? What is our government doing to protect us? I remember while I served in the Belize Defence Force, I was fortunate enough to work Police duties. I was sent to patrol the city with the regular police men. There were instances where the policemen were insulted but never attacked. As a soldier, armed with my M-16 I was never approached, insulted or targeted by members of the criminal society(we had permission to Kill - One shot one Kill or you can be Court Martialled and sent to jail if a body was not brought back for an expended shell). Today these cops are so irrelevant in our community that they are even being shot at. Where is our country going? Are these criminals of today so brazen as to attack the core protection of our society? What brought us to this point? In my mind the most readily response I would provide would be "Simple" Economics. Corrupt Ploiticians, Kiss Ass Police Department and lack of jobs for the young people of our nation, that is economics(the study of the distribution of scarce resources).
I am so disappointed right now I am not even sure how to express it. It makes me cringe to think about going home for the upcoming holidays. Personally, I believe it will get worst before it gets better.
Police Come Under Armed Attack Again!
On duty police officers were attacked by armed criminals twice last night. The first incident occurred at 7:33 when a man pointed a gun in a policeman’s face and threatened to kill him. Three hours later another gunman opened fire on a police patrol and it would take three police patrol units to detain him, and that’s only after they shot him. Eastern Division boss and Assistant Commissioner of Police Allan Whylie told us more at a press conference held this morning.

...this 2-B one of my sherlockHOLMES moments where i do decipher that what we have on our hand is a STATE of ENTROPY...Conceptually we r not at odds...Yes there is chaos and anarchy...Yes it is spiraling out-of-control...but i would add or substitute the term ENTROPY to qualify that the situation similar to ye olde collegePHYSICS is operating within the framework of certain boundaries within SPACE and TIME...the drawing of parallels as it were between EINSTEINIAN thermoDYNAMICS and the humanCONDITION as it were!!!
I feel the word ENTROPY would be more appropriate since progressively over time THINGs have gotten WORSE and will continue to get worse if the rule holds that over time MATTER assumes the position of LEAST energy... a trend to RANDOMNESS and DISORDER ad infinitum!!!
All these things that u r seeing bze is a consequence of a caving in of the structure...and processes that have been put in place for the DEMOCRACY 2-WRK...The intervention of the PUPs in GOV have been likened to an invasion of the bodyPOLITIC of the NATION by AIDs...The very politicaLEADERSHIP that is at the pinnacle of decisionMAKING 2-make the CNTRY wrk is the same institution that is undermining publicTRUST and confidence and the delivery of adequate and useful service to the citizenry...In the same way that the AIDs virus attacks the WBCs that r the bodies defenses...it is the same way that the PUPs have made the office of the contractorGENERAL + theDPP + theAMBUSHMAN + theAUDITORgeneral + the policeCOMMISSIONER redundant and USELESS!!!

These things…especially the latter may be a shocker to the uninitiated & the naive & the uninformed...but par-for-the-course for the STUDENT of the EXPECTED in the emerging REPUBLIC of ASHCROFT & BOWEN!!!
