Flat screen monitors

I tried to buy a flat screen monitor yesterday just to see how ridiculous the prices were everywhere. Last year I could get a good 19 inch monitor for about 5 to 6 hundred dollars. Now a the cheapest 19 inch monitor goes for over $700.
When I inquired why I found out that government raised the tax on all flat screen monitors over a certain resolution. They now charge the same duty and taxes on them as on a Flat Screen TV. The people at customs told me that this was done because people would buy nice monitors and just add a cable box and have a nice hdtv. So what, should we be forced to continue to buy inferior CRT displays because only those are affordable? ...........

...that may be money, but if you do have a Progressive scan dvd player, you can watch your movies in a much better resolution than on a 480 line regular tv...

you are talking about.... hdtv sucks... we dont get ANY HD channels from our cable provider anywyas so its as useless as a dick at a lesbian orgy...

Technicaly Incorrect

CRTs are way better than "flat screen" by which I take it you mean LCD. The only advantages of LC is lower weight, footprint and power consumption. Quality wise they are way inferior.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, pee in it, and serve it to the people that piss you off. And supa-fly koncas has some fries if you want some! (No ideal what he might have done with them though :)
