cuba is pretty much F'ed up......there is like the really rich high society people...(probably government officials & relatives)..then theres a big gap and then everyone else is really poor....So ive been told from people who studied there....and there is very little freedom.....u gotta pay taxes on every little money u make...

Your arguement is flawed, currently Musa has pushed privatization, which is a ultra capitalist position, before he was pro-socialist, this shows you that he has no true conviction and goes with the prevailing winds. Musa, has pushed privatization for his own agenda, which is sell out belize, yes sell out belize, they sell out what is worth alot for nothing, and sell what is worth nothing for alot, with the government backing these loans. The proceeds from the bad loans are split & divided between the people involve. Usually the loan is given to some foreigner, from the middle east that then splits with the money and leaving the collaterall that isn't worth much. Hence the idea of selling off what is worth nothing for a big loan, we the people are now stuck with a defaulted loan, and no collateral to cover it. On the other side they sell what is worth alot for nothing, example Militia Hall, or what is known as old custom warf and bdf camp in Fort George, that was sold to Fienstein and the Espat crowd for nothing, this is Prime Real estate, another case is the proposal to privatize parts of barrier reef and maya ruins. What we have is a vaccuum the colonial masters are gone, and the elites are dividing up the country in such a way that nothing will remain. That will equal a whole lot of poor people, that is what we are seeing, we are seeing a shrinking middle class.

i really dont c anything wrong with a leader thinking like a communist. look at it this way, the basics which socialism represents is equality among the population, everybody on a level playing field, socially and economically. our leader however, picks out the points which suit him and disregards the rest. so he has a communist mindset, yet he steals millions while a large number of our people still live in poverty. i guess in said's mind just cuz ur a communist doesent mean u have to live like one. the time has come.

If u listen to Musa when he said he could go to any one of his offices he mentioned an office in Cuba. Which should be a red flag to all of us Belizeans. What is he doing with an office in Cuba? Something to consider, since Castro dont let anybody just go to Cuba and do business muchless have an office.
