Clean rice and Sugar???

Why does it seems that we Belizeans cannot get clean rice and sugar to buy in the store locally? everytime we go to the shop to buy rice and/or sugar its always dirty. We need to pick the rice before we can put in the the pot to cook. Same with the sugar, mixing a cup of milk in the morning addinf 2 teaspoon of sugar, we get some black things floating on the top. This is so disgusting. They want us to buy belizeans and support the belizeans products, but they do not produce the best quality products. they need to do something. this has gone on for years and nobody has done anything because we still get the same dirty rice and sugar. Until they do, i'm getting clean rice I don't need to pick before putting in my pot and clean sugar without those black things floating on top from Chet. Also the same goes for the pak bread, every pak you buy look at it, they always have so black stuff on the crust. I think the public health department needs to look into this.

I agree, i hate picking my rice before i cook it. I go to work for 8 hours a day and comehome to 2 hours of picking rice. No, FUCK NO! enough is enough. Then again, Dem mada fuckas wan dang we wid di gas bill to go to chet. Just no winning wid dis tiefing set.

I remember when brown sugar use to brown. I don't like this process shit deh giving us and to make it worst the sugar is half processed. This trashy sugar just show up about 4 to 5 years ago a wonder what caused the changes. If anybody know give me a buzz.

Yes, I know we export these products, but I'm of the impression that we belizeans get the rejected stuff.
I am willing the spend the extra few cents to get the clean rice, the one i don't have to pick. You're saying that I can get a bag a the marketing Board? If so, i'll make a trip there. its closer that Chet.

Theres absolutely nothin wrong with the rice and sugar that is produced in Belize! How do you think we are able to export these things in mass quantities?? You think we can just dash anything in a bag and ship it off for sale on the world market and theyll just accept it? If you go to the Belize Marketing Board and buy a sack of rice (they have as small as 20lbs sack), there are different grades that you can choose from. The same goes for buying sugar at BSI. The thing is, the cheap rass chiney man dem go there and buy the cheapest grade possible for a difference a few dollars, and that is what they sell you! So you cant really blame the producers, blame the people who sell you the dirty rice and sugar!
Question is though, would you pay a few cents more for the clean sugar and rice if the shopkeepers bought it?? Or would you wail and make a whole lotta noise bout how di chiney man thief? Remember they had to pay for gasoline to go buy thier sugar and rice too!!

WE should ask his wife to bring back some for us so we can enjoy not picking rice. Picking rice is a real pain. especially when it is very dirty. Image cooking white rice but when you look in the pot, you see some black stuff.
