Government Stipends should be Removed or Reduced

Belize is a small country with limited resources. The basic notion of

economics it that an individual like a State have unlimited NEEDS and

WANTS(in Belize) but limited resources (Scarcity); therefore, the public

policies should be the most optimum to cope with the limited resources. In

other words, finding strategies to “do more with less”. Any public policy

should try to identify urgent priorities of the State and not the urgent

private priorities of the ministers. In Belize, what have been happening is

that minister do not focus on the NEEDS but on the WANTS, not wants of a

Belizeans are valued only in General Elections

Why does the Government of Belize simply ignore the questions and concerns of Belizeans? I hope that Belizeans don`t continue to sort to violence to get some government attention. The last two incident affiliated to government ministers, the theft of Mr. Perdomo constituency office and the shooting of the private vehicle of Mr. Martinez ^boots^, is a clear call to the Ministers that Belizeans are getting frustrated and tired of the Government continuous negligence to the citizens concerns. I reflected in the past weeks that a revolution against the minister was imminent; it will not be a surprise if Belizeans take justice in their own hands against the criminals and against the selected corrupted government officials.

Should Belize continue allowing Corruption and Nepotism?

I love my beautiful country Belize. There is certainly a relationship between good governance and development. The standard of living of Belizeans have been decreasing as the years pass by. Why? Its simple, just look at our nightly news, we are bombarded with news of political negligence, corruption, nepotism, etc...Now my question to Belizean, are WE going to continue with this trend that will be passed from generation to generation? I am not taking about the present government in Office but from both PUP and UDP...both parties are responsible to the decreasing standard of living of Belizeans!!! Why the legislator pass laws to punish the misuse of public funds? Well, the election trend have been that is either UDP now then the next general election is PUP...the ministers know that if laws are implemented to punish minister, this same laws will affect them when either political party is in office; hence, both political party fight for being government but not fight to implement laws to reduce corruption or fight for the upliftment of the poor.
