I recall land from my family being taken away under the PUP. I recall SanCas writing in the newspaper about how land near BSI was taken away from his father under the PUP.

Musa and the PUP have a way of doing things and blaming the UDP for it. I recall when Elrington put people out of house for non-payment the PUP Leaders make a stink of that, yet Musa and the PUP do it over and over again. PUP give away election money, and want to collect that back as loan. Musa and the PUP are good at throwing stones while hiding their hands. Musa cronies rape tens of millions from DFC, yet poor Belizeans cannot get thousands to study or build a house, now Musa is giving out land just for the election... who does he think he is fooling?

Belizeans are tired of the corruption of the Musa Administration. Belizeans are looking to the UDP to make things right, if their is corruption in the Lands Department that needs to be fixed, we want the UDP to fix it. That is what Barrow is talking about - fixing the corruption in lands the PUP has devised.

IF you have a problem with that, keep voting PUP. IF you are tired of the corruption and seeking a change, vote for UDP. That is nothing to apologize about.

Redhead, who is being an apologist here? You can't really believe the nonsense that you are writing. You really think Barrow will go after the lands belonging to the wealthy - those that can afford good lawyers and fight Barrow to the end. No, he will be forced to go after the hardworking Belizean man and woman who struggled to get a piece of land to call their own. If you don't think so, look at the UDP's history of 'land redistribution'. Between 84 and 89 they took away hundreds of leases from poor people on the Southside and 'redistributed' them to party supporters. Those from whom the land was swipped were old Belizean families, men who fought in the war, single women and the like. No land was taken from Luke Espat, Pappy Pena, Tony Leslie, Moncho Galvez. But land was given to Finnegan's family, Faith Babb's family, Patrick Faber's family and right down the UDP line. None of the people who lost land were compensated in any way. The same happened between 93 and 98, only the UDP got more brazen. Ask Barrow who had title to the land his house now sits on. He had Dito Juan take away a title from a poor family and transfer it to him. Terrible. The same was done for Dennis Usher in Toledo, Reuben Campos in OW and others. Look at the record, redhead and hornyfly. The UDP no good. And thats' why Barrow's pronouncement to 'quitar sus terrenos' has reverberated so much. The people remember. The people know. Barrow no change. He still want everything for himself. Go ahead and apologise for that, you hypocrites.
