This is not only in Belmopan City, this is country wide. Foreigners are in charge of pretty much all major aspect of our daily lives and livelihood from food, to electricity, to communication etc... why? In my opinion Belizeans are a docile people, we have never really fought for anything, every thing has been basically handed to us, so it is easy to take from someone (people) like dat, cause we appreciate nothing...and guess what the foreigners know this quite well.

The anology to this is quite simple, watch the documentary Born Rich In The USA; kids of rich parents, they don't care or appreciate nothing, because everything has been handed to them, its not their fault, they just don't know how to appreciate it, becuase they didn't earn it, same here in Belize can be said to be true to a certain degree.

Don't blame the foreigners for doing what they are doing, blame us, the Belizeans, in a collective manner. We Belizeans, have this disease, we do not, in general, worry about nothing until it affects us directly, we do not really have a mass, collective mentality, we believe that we live in a bubble and only when that bubble is penetrated and u get affected directly then we react.

But, this situation can be analyzed to death, the only people that can stop this is us, Belizeans, and we have to do it from an individual level. So sick and tired of Belizeans wanting someone to save them from themselves, we need to save ourselves, fuck the politicians.

You and I know that the comments are true. We do work together with all the races that do business here. How do you think that they have all become rich? Most of them off the sweat of poor Belizeans, selling them inferior products at prices above what the products are worth. I might be blunt but I this is real. Why do you think that they continue to open new businesses? I believe that we have been more than accommodating and that that it is time for a shift. Do they invest in other businesses other than their own commercial activities? (Me thinks thou dost protest too much.)

If we want Creoles to succeed we must work together with other races not try and create some kind of twisted apartheid regime. What are you on about?
