Anyone see the poll on Channel 7 last nignt

Well, first, according to the poll:
* The Prime Minister's approval rating is a dismal 19.8%.
* 71.6% of those polled say he should call an early election.
* 49% of those polled would vote for a third party.
* 34.5% would re-elect a PUP government
* and 65.7% would vote for the UDP.
Okay I don't want to sound like a PUP apologist but I found several problems with this. First I do want to commend them for posting the actual questions ask this is very unusaly and never happens in the states. Any way the artical says the polls where conducted by phone. First problem that leaves out whole segements of the population many, many villages have no phones so they where ignored. 388 people where interviews which is like 100hundred of a percent of the population so the sample is real small. But even with all that in mind 19.8 approval rateing like sucks.

i'll bet he will say, thats only 388 people and not the 50,000 people who gave him a mandate to govern. (as he always does)
